Kate Dawes
Kate Dawes works from her studio in the Staffordshire countryside, creating bold botanical artwork and fine art giclee prints.
Kate has spent her career in the creative and photographic industries and after many years in London and abroad, she returned to her childhood village in the Staffordshire Moorlands. She creates contemporary botanical mixed media art pieces. This work is a hybrid of art and photography, combining her photo imagery with artistic skills using watercolours, acrylics, pencils and pen. Her mixed media work emphasises the natural beauty of botanicals and florals and she concentrates on capturing the strong lines and structures of a variety of flowers and foliage. Kate draws inspiration for her artwork from local country gardens and wildflower meadows.
Her work is shown at galleries and exhibitions and she also works a lot with interior designers.
All the signed, fine art giclee prints are available in A4, A3 and A2.
